We’re pleased to share that Q-Mass is well on the way to achieving AS9100D certification, with the goal of completing the process by the end of April. This internationally recognised quality management standard is essential for manufacturing components used in aerospace applications, and reaching this milestone will mark a major step forward for our business.
Over the past few months, our team has been working through a structured process that’s included gap analysis, internal audits, and strengthening our quality systems. We’re now preparing for the final audit stage and are confident we’re on track to meet the standard.
Being AS9100D-certified will allow us to manufacture parts that are approved for use on commercial aircraft, opening the door to new opportunities within the aerospace sector. It also gives current and future partners confidence in our commitment to quality, traceability, and process control.
While Q-Mass already manufactures high-precision components for a range of industries—including aerospace—this certification will further enhance the way we work, particularly in areas like risk management and continuous improvement.
We’re proud of the progress so far and excited about what lies ahead. This is a big step for the business, and we look forward to expanding our capabilities even further in the months to come.
